Pizza Rice Casserole
- 1 & 1/2 lbs. hamburger
- 3 T. chopped onion
- 20 – 24 oz spaghetti sauce (more if you like it more saucy)
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer. Meanwhile, mix cooked rice and cottage cheese. Smooth into a greased casserole dish. Pour meat mixture on top. Spread pepperoni and shredded cheese on top. Bake about 20-30 mins or until bubbly around the edges.
I covered the frozen pans with saran wrap before the foil. Don’t forget to take that off before baking.
